Biomechanical Assessment Reports
Macclesfield Podiatry can provide a comprehensive biomechanical assessment report following a biomechanical assessment and gait analysis. A number of injuries and pathologies are experienced due to poor foot and lower limb mechanics, including:
- Heel pain

- Back pain
- Shoulder pain
- Hip pain
- Knee pain
- Plantar fasciitis
- Tendonitis
- Neuroma
- Iliotibial band syndrome
- Callus and corns
Macclesfield Podiatry will perform a biomechanical assessment in order to assess the mechanics of your leg and foot. Incorporated into the biomechanical assessment is dynamic assessment (gait analysis), non-weightbearing, and weightbearing assessment. A footwear review will also be performed.
The results of the assessment will provide your podiatrist with the necessary information to formulate a treatment plan.
A biomechanical assessment by a podiatrist, followed by appropriate treatment will reduce injury and as a consequence time off in the workplace, especially in professions in which spending the majority of time on foot is a requirement.
At MacclesfieldPodiatry we will provide a detailed biomechanical assessment report that will outline findings and the treatment required to improve symptoms.
